As some of you may remember, back in August I posted Shane Acker's short film 9 as a part of our Short Films You Must See Series (you can see the short posted here). The short was the most popular (in terms of hits) that we have posted thus far. I was thrilled to see that response and how the same occurs for the upcoming feature. I mentioned somewhere along the line that it was being made into a feature film, and now the official trailer for the feature has been released. I have to say it looks fantastic. Between this and Coraline in 2009, Focus Features is making a serious mark for animated films. Kudos all around.

(Whoops, slippery fingers, I guess)
Wowzers. This looks absolutely stunning -- and should be a far better film than that other movie being released next year with that title.
Agreed about the other "Nine," despite DDL's presence.
I'm not crazy about the songs used in the trailer, so I'm hoping that the film has a decent score and/or different songs. That aside, it still seems pretty awesome.
