Before you turn away from Out 1 forever because of this selection, I have to admit that this video was brought to my attention from its appearance on J. Hoberman's Top 10 Films of the 1980s, placing just ahead of Tarkovsky's The Sacrifice. Don't mess...just watch and enjoy this essential, playful, and brilliant video from everyone's favorite decade of music.

Oh, Cyndi . . .
Man, how high was J-Dog?! I'll have to ask him about this someday...
That may have been the longest four and a half minutes of my life.
Haha. Sorry Jacob (both of you, I guess...) I think this video is pretty awesome myself (obviously...since I chose it) but hey...maybe we just can't get past that music or that hair!
I commend Mr. Hoberman on understanding that music videos are just little movies that can be pretty incredible. I'm not sure if I agree with him on this particular video, but I'm already calling Kanye West/Spike Jonze's "Flashing Lights" as best movie of 2008.
